Powerpoint

Is it possible to add a piece of music to a presentation that will run for the entire duration of the presentation?

RE: Powerpoint

Hi Ruth

Thank you for your question; and welcome to the forum.

If you insert the sound on the first slide (Insert - Movies and Sounds - Sound from File), the sound icon will appear on the slide, once you have selected if you'd like the sounds to play automatically or not.

If you right-click on the sound and choose Edit Sound Object you can tick the Loop until stopped option, if the sound will end before the presentation has finished running through.

The Help feature in PowerPoint is actually very useful regarding using sounds in presentations - if you look up sound you will find a number of related help items.

Kind regards
Amanda
