Julie has attended:
PowerPoint Intermediate Advanced course
I know how to individually set the format of viewing a window, whether that be in list/thumbnail/icons etc, but I was wondering whether there is a way to do the same thing but as a general setting to the whole computer - so it does not continually have to be re-done? (And if so, how do you do it?)
With thanks
Julie
Hi Julie, Thank you for your post, In answer to your question, try this; Open your My Computer dialog box; select the option Tools and choose Folder Options, This will open the Global Folder options dialog box. Observe the options on page one (General), make any choices if you wish. Select the View tab and make your choices as you require; dont forget to click the Apply to All Folders button at the top of the dialog box, this will apply the view you are using for this dialog box to all folders. I hope that helps. best regards Pete
