Syllabus
Who is this course for?
This course is suitable for all line managers and supervisors who have responsibility for managing a team and who want to broaden their people management techniques. It will be beneficial for both a newly promoted manager or supervisor, or someone that has been in their position for a while and wants to refresh and re-energise their management skills.

Objectives
By the end of one day workshop delegates will be able to:
- Describe the John Adair model for “Action Centered Leadership”
- Explain the advantages of having a balanced management approach to “The Task”, “The Team” and “The Individual” and the challenges that will be encountered if the approach is out of balance
- Identify their own personal management position against the “Action Centered Leadership Model” and plan to address areas for improvement
