I love shortcuts, they save me loads of time by using a couple of keystrokes instead of going to different tabs and menus.<\/p>\n

Here are my 10 favourite Excel shortcuts to speed up data entry in Excel.<\/p>\n

  1. To undo the last action<\/strong> – use\u00a0Control + Z \u00a0no matter what program you are using, this shortcut undoes the last action. \u00a0Love it!<\/li>\n
  2. To add today’s date<\/strong> – \u00a0use Control + ;<\/li>\n
  3. To add the current time<\/strong> – use Control + Shift + :<\/li>\n
  4. To edit a cell<\/strong> – use F2<\/li>\n
  5. To select a column<\/strong> – use Control + spacebar<\/li>\n
  6. To select a row<\/strong> – use Shift + spacebar<\/li>\n
  7. To get to the last active cell<\/strong> in your Excel sheet – use Control + End<\/li>\n
  8. To move to the first active cell<\/strong> – use Control + Home<\/li>\n
  9. To move to the next worksheet<\/strong> – Control + page down<\/li>\n
  10. To move to the previous worksheet<\/strong> – use Control + page up<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
