Although the\u00a0Chart Tools Layout tab no longer exists in\u00a02013, the buttons it contained are still available, just in different places.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a href=\"\/b\/exceltraining\/files\/2013\/05\/22.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1764\" src=\"\/b\/exceltraining\/files\/2013\/05\/22.png\" alt=\"Excel 2013 charts\" width=\"600\" height=\"75\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Three (new) buttons for chart formatting now appear at the top right corner of your chart; <strong>Chart Elements<\/strong>, <strong>Chart Styles<\/strong> and <strong>Chart Filters<\/strong>. Previously you had to modify the data range in a fiddly way. Now you can hide and show data with the chart filters selecting them from the tick box menu, very similar to filtering data in a table.
